ସଂକ୍ଷିପ୍ତସାର | Abstract
ସବୁଜିମା ଭରା ଏକ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ୱଳ ଓ ସନ୍ତୁଳିତ ପୃଥିବୀର ପରିକଳ୍ପନା ପାଇଁ ପରିବେଶ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ସବୁଠାରୁ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବିଷୟ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସାଂପ୍ରତିକ ସମୟରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପର ଦ୍ୱାହି ଦେଇ ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ପରିବେଶକୁ ଧ୍ୱଂସମୁଖକୁ ଠେଲି ଦିଆଯାଉଛି। ଜଗତିକରଣ ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବହୁରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରୀୟ କମ୍ପାନୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅବାଧରେ ଶିଳ୍ପ ସଂସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଅନୁମତି ଦିଆଗଲା। ଫଳରେ ଲାଭଖୋର କଂପାନୀଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ସଂପଦର ଉପଯୋଗ ସହିତ ଜମି-ଜଳ-ଜଂଗଲ-ପାହାଡ-ଖଣି-ଖାଦାନ ସବୁକୁ ବିପର୍ଯ୍ୟସ୍ତ କରିଦେଲେ। ଲକ୍ଷଲକ୍ଷ ଗଛ କଟାଗଲା ବିକାଶ ନାମରେ। ପରିବେଶକୁ ହତ୍ୟା କରାଗଲା। ଫଳରେ ଭୟଙ୍କର ଭାବେ ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ବିପର୍ଯ୍ୟୟ ସବୁ ଦେଖାଦେଲା। ପରିବେଶର ଏହି ମହାସଙ୍କଟକୁ ଯେଉଁ ସାହିତ୍ୟରେ ରୂପ ଦିଆଯିବା ସହିତ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇଛି ତାକୁ ପରିବେଶକୈନ୍ଦ୍ରିକ ସାହିତ୍ୟ କୁହାଯାଏ। ଅବକ୍ଷୟମୁଖୀ ପରିବେଶର ପୁନରୁଦ୍ଧାର ପାଇଁ ଏଥିରେ ସଚେତନତା ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରାଯାଇଛି। ଉତ୍ତର ଅଶୀ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଗଳ୍ପରେ ଏହି ପରିବେଶକୈନ୍ଦ୍ରିକ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିକୋଣ କିଭଳି ପ୍ରତିଫଳିତ ତାହା ଆଲୋଚ୍ୟ ପ୍ରବନ୍ଧର ଅଭିଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ।

Environmental protection is the most important issue for the vision of a bright and balanced world full of greenery. But in recent times, the natural environment is being pushed to the brink of destruction due to various projects. Under the influence of globalization, multinational companies were allowed to set up industries without any restrictions. As a result, the profit-hungry companies, along with the use of natural resources, destroyed land-water-forests-mountains-mines-quarries. Lakhs of trees were cut down in the name of development. The environment was killed. As a result, terrible natural disasters were seen. The literature in which this great environmental crisis has been given shape and reacted is called ecocentric literature. Awareness has been created in it for the restoration of the degraded environment. The objective of this discussion article is to see how this ecocentric perspective is reflected in the Odia stories of the North-East.
